At BrotheRootz, authenticity, positive energy, and a deep connection with nature define who we are. Our journey began with a commitment to preserving our environment and showcasing the hidden gems of our homeland. That’s why we’ve chosen pristine locations like Carvalho’s Beach as our starting point for exploring the breathtaking Benagil cave system, steering clear of crowds and peak season chaos to offer you a more intimate and exclusive adventure.

We are BrotheRootz
We are an eco-friendly SUP company that came to life due to 3 young Local Friends who had the same dream: built a sustainable and alternative way of living and do what we love the most in the place we grew up. Authenticity, Good vibes, Sun and Salty water defines who we are!
We decided that we would be the difference, be genuine and stick to our roots. That’s why we chose Carvalho’s Beach as our port of departure to the Benagil cave, avoiding the crowds and high season confusion, as we prepared an unconventional and more exclusive route.
We only take 10 people per tour so it’s more intimate, fun and safe. BrotheRootz is composed by young local guides with a fresh new vision and approach to Algarve’s tourism.
Meet the Crew
Caio and his mates were so organized and professional. Their launch location was private and calm and a great way to start the morning (no crowds to work around like some of the other launch zones). His background in geology was a bonus—we learned so much about Benegil Algar (which is not technically a cave) and all the science behind the shape of the different caves and beaches he took us to. He took awesome GoPro shots of us (which he shared with us) and gave us great local recommendations after the tour of other beaches and places to eat. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!
This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Paddle boarding to the caves was totally magical. And I loved how fun and accessible paddle boarding was, it was my first time! Caio and Francisco were so fun and knowledgeable. They took amazing pictures of me too hahaha I love them! This is a MUST in Algarve.
We had a great time with Caio! A amazing tour with a professional and friendly guide, perfect planning regarding day and time (no wind, no tourists), what was the base for a great adventure! I can fully recommend the tour and the guys from Brotherootz SUP Tours!👍💪🤙

What a year it has been! We couldn`t have asked for a better starting year like this one of 2022. We are super grateful and thankful for a successful High season. Many thanks for everybody who joined us at Carvalho`s beach, shared on social media or in some other way helped us to establish our project.
